Design Process
1. Consultation
To secure your date, a £150 non-refundable deposit confirms your booking, alongside our T&Cs. We’ll then connect via Zoom to explore your wedding vision — from flavours and colours to textures and design details.
2. Tasting
The tasting experience. For wedding cakes over £600, a complimentary Signature Tasting Box is sent to your home, offering a selection of my favourite flavours. Boxes are posted quarterly, or if you’d like to sample before booking, they can be purchased for £45 (plus P&P) via email blueberrymooncakes@gmail.com
3. Sketch
After our consultation, I’ll create digital sketches and a personalised quote, bringing your modern wedding cake concept to life.
4. Final call and Delivery
Six weeks before your wedding, we’ll have a final call to confirm details and settle your balance. In the week leading up, I’ll coordinate with your venue and florist to ensure everything flows smoothly. On the day, I’ll arrive on time to set up your cake, add final styling touches, and provide allergen and cutting instructions — leaving you free to enjoy every moment. Venue setup usually
takes 1–1.5 hours. Travel is charged at £0.60 per mile (from Bristol) plus £15/hour and will be included in your personalised quote.
*** Please note that there is a minimum spend of £450 for all orders. Delivery and setup charges are not included. 2-tier cakes can be topped up with dessert table items, such as cupcakes. ***

Modern Croquembouche
Prices start from £250.00
Small: serves 20 – 40 Contains a minimum of 80 Choux buns. Sits on a 12″ cake drum, approximately 40cm tall.
Medium: serves 28 – 56 Contains a minimum of 112 Choux buns. Sits on a 14″ cake drum, approximately 55cm tall.
Large: serves 45 – 90 Contains a minimum of 180 Choux buns. Sits on an 18″ cake drum, approximately 75cm tall.
Extravaganza: serves 60 – 120 Contains a minimum of 240 Choux buns. Sits on an 18″ cake drum, approximately 100cm tall.
Epic: serves 115 – 230 Contains a minimum of 460 Choux buns. Sits on a 20″ cake drum, approximately 120cm tall.
Additional Information
Anniversary Cake
An additional replica top tier can also be provided, presented separately in a 6″ x”6 box tier with a ribbon, should you wish to freeze it to enjoy at a later date. Prices will depend on the design of your cake.
1. Dummy Tiers
A dummy tier is indistinguishable in external appearance from a real tier. It is made from lightweight Polystyrene and decorated in the same way as a sponge cake. For certain designs, dummy tiers can be effective in adding height and drama without wasting a lot of cake. For certain designs, they can also help keep the cost down, supplemented with “cutting cake”
2. Delivery
Delivery fees will be determined by the mileage between your venue and my studio in Bristol, and the amount of time needed for assembly. Generally, 3-tier wedding cakes are transported pre-stacked and do not require assembly time at the venue. Larger cakes are often transported semi-assembled and finished at the venue, or require full assembly at the venue.
3. Cake Stands
At Blueberry Moon Cakes, I have over 10 cake stands available to hire for your wedding day, the hire cost of which is between £20 and £90 depending on the stand you choose. I also ask for a refundable deposit in case of damage; thankfully, this has never happened.
4. Deposits and Booking Fees
A non-refundable payment of £150 is required to secure your booking. After that, you will receive your wedding cake sketch to approve your design. The remainder of the balance is due 3 weeks before your wedding date. If you love my style and know you would like me to design your cake but aren’t quite ready to discuss design in detail yet, you can put down a non-refundable booking fee of £250 to secure your date. This will be deducted from your final balance.
A final quotation will be provided once your design has been finalised following your consultation.
