Preparing and making food has always been an essential part of my life. I have many wonderful memories of growing up where food was made with love and from scratch. Meal preparation is also a social time for many households, where stories are shared with loved ones. So food is part of my soul, and sweet food is where I find comfort.
I’m a self-taught, self-made cake artist with decades of experience in artisan baking. I spend my time designing and bringing to life magnificent wedding cakes and celebration cakes. Through continued study and practice, I’ve honed my skills to include cake art and model icing—or, as we like to say, art in cake form.
I had an opportunity to make a wedding cake for a friend, and it was an undescribed joy that it delivered, not just for me but also for the bride and groom, that got me thinking. It’s not a job; it’s a passion, a safe haven. It’s an opportunity for me to finally be who I am—someone who delights in creating beautiful things inspired by all the splendour and diversity of nature, and I am certain it will be an integral part of a very special day.
I founded Blueberry Moon Cakes after moving to Bristol, and it is now the proficient, comprehensive cake service you see today. We are committed to providing a premium, bespoke service that is high in quality and exudes fine artistry.
The organic ingredients I use reflect the homemade produce that we use in our cakes, which is locally sourced and contains all natural ingredients.
